Draco had been waiting a little while to see what exactly the Capitol was going to do about his little proposal. It seemed to him like they were almost going to ignore him - hardly a good sign, he thought - until he finally got a letter telling him about a handful of other Tributes (and a Victor, it seemed) who were going to judge him. Seemed like pure laziness to the blond, but if it got him his citizenship, then so be it.

So there he was, hanging around in convenient places around the tower, making himself available to that small handful of people.

"I do. Remarkably quickly, actually; it's not that I haven't learned to adapt to the Arenas, it-" Draco paused, wrinkling his nose before closing his eyes for a moment, bringing that confident facade back up with a small smirk, and a shrug that managed to almost border on humble. "I find them a little bit boring from that end, that's all. All of that running and hiding. Going days without finding anyone." He fluttered one hand a bit dismissively, shrugging again.

Eva leans back again, stroking at the tip of her chin with her fingers.

"I don't know if I'd say they were ever boring for me, but I was only ever in one. I suppose it's normal that someone could get so used to trauma as to become desensitized to it, but that just makes them like any other Capitol citizen. Do you suppose we want assimilation or diversity here in Panem?"

She had a point. He thought that over, studying her briefly at the same time. "I bring a totally different perspective on the thing. I'm not from a world where people are often desensitised to trauma or violence; we're really quite cultured, and tend to frown on it a bit. Obviously that's impossible here-" Draco offered her a mild smile, trying his best to make it reach his eyes. "-but it's still another perspective, isn't it? That's diversity, I think."

"Does that mean you're frowning on us?" she says. She's poking and prodding, trying to get an impression of his personality and how he responds to being toyed with. It's more for her own use than the Capitol's.

"Of course not," he replied, not even flustered by the question. He was slowly getting into the swing of things now. "If I were frowning on you, would I really want to become an official citizen?"

"Well, if the alternative is something you find classless and vulgar, perhaps." She taps her lips. "And what will you be doing for pay? You mentioned magic in your application."

Draco tipped his head a little at her, frowning slightly as though he thought that comment more than a little strange. Truth be told, he found both options fairly classless and vulgar, but better tea parties and actual work than having to kill people on the regular.

Even if he was actually starting to get used to the entire thing.

"Well, magic is but one of my many talents. Probably the best, most viable one - I get the feeling there isn't that much of it around these parts. Obviously there's got to be someone who needs a wizard around here."

"No magic around here? You'd better not tell the stylists that." She smirks and stirs her wine with her fingertip. "So you're looking for us to find a use for your talents, rather than giving us ideas. That might be demanding a little much creativity from these people."

"Actual magic, not what they do. That's different," he replied, managing a weak little laugh. "Really? You'd think? I could always help with decorating. I'm brilliant at that, and I'd cut the time to do it all in half, if not less."

"And what sort of...status do you see yourself having, as a decorator? Do you aspire to Sponsor status?"

"I could be. Or maybe a Stylist. That seems like it would be an interesting turn of events," Draco mused, conversations with Cinna going through his head.
