He fiddles around on the device a little bit more, then slides it into his pockets. His movements have no urgency--or, at least, he hopes it looks like that. He's eager to keep moving and doesn't want to betray that intention.

He takes another moment to consider his words as he approaches Bruce. "Looks like you were out shoppin'. Anything you forgot to pick up, by any chance?"

"A few things. I think I'm going to come across them soon, though."

It's casual. Bruce knows how to feign casualness. If the young man is a collector, he'll know to drop something off. If he's not, then it's innocuous enough that Bruce hasn't roused suspicion.

What more confirmation does he need? He nods slowly, at the same time discretely reaching under his jacket to let the package hidden inside drop onto the ground. Thank goodness for deliberately ill-fitting clothes.

"Yeah? Sounds like you think you're gonna get lucky, then."

He shifts his weight to his other foot, pretending to relax as he slides the package a little closer.

"Hmm. Yeah, I guess I am."

He discretely bends over to grab the package, as if he'd dropped it himself, and slips it into his bag.

"Anyone else getting lucky soon, you think?"

"I look like a got a crystal ball?" He shrugs. "Actually, I couldn't tell you. Not really sure how it's gonna go."

He raises both eyebrows, trying to hint as well as he can that he's open to this guy's input. Maybe the doublespeak is cutting it, but you can never be too thorough.

"Maybe I have a crystal ball."

He looks up towards the sky, squinting at the sun. This isn't the most remote blind spot available. Not a good place to just stay in.

"You feel like going for a walk with me?"

He doesn't bother hiding his grin. "I could always use somethin' to stretch my legs."

And he does feel himself getting a little antsy staying in one place during this mission, even if he doesn't yet have another set goal.
