Hey Alice. Don't follow that White Rabbit...
WHO| Tony Stark & Trey Jolie
WHAT| Jolie finds out Tony's secret, it's kind of a doozy for her.
WHEN| After the crowning
WHERE| Ultimately in Tony's secret computer lab.
WARNINGS| Non-Capitol friendly conversations and Capitolite hysteria.
Despite having won the last arena, having a very nostalgic and only mildly traumatic crowning held for him. Tony was possibly more reclusive than ever. Almost seemingly never leaving his room and not exactly being as eager to deal with people he wasn't overly close to as he used to be.
He also seemed to be disappearing for nearly the whole day every day from the tower, normally leaving early in the morning and coming back late at night. He was still making it on the news in various ways like showing up at his favourite donut and coffee shop, which was now famous enough he was contemplating avoiding the place until the next arena was won so he could get his caffeine and carbs in peace. But other than being seen at seemingly random points of the day, Tony was otherwise hidden away from the world without anyone seeming to know why.
Today was no exception, already walking out of the tower at 8am a coffee already in his hand this time as he starts his routine of randomly walking the streets before slipping off the radar and into his secretive room under a shady bar to get onto his computer.

After being brushed off by a distracted Tony, she decided she was done with this business. As such, Tony has a very avid stalker on one of his early mornings. Jolie has dressed down for the occasion, just Trey in clothes that are plainer than he'd normally wear. He keeps his distance as he follows, acting like the carbon copy of a sitcom character attempting a similar shtick but with a small attempt at being subtle.
He doesn't much like the look of the bar but he lets Tony get in and waits an appropriate amount of time before following. He's starting to feel more and more like he shouldn't be here, but he's snooped this far and he won't stop now. It takes a little longer to find where the hell Tony got to once he disappeared into the bar, a few doors peered into before he finds the right one.
That's Tony alright, he knows that stupid face anywhere.
Trey pushes open the door, a triumphant look on his face that quickly dies once he realises what he's getting up to. The sound he emits is a high pitched hiss, like a kettle, he continues to make it even as he scrambles to shut the door behind him.
"What the fuck are you doing? What are you doing? What, what what?" His voice is reaching frequencies it really shouldn't, even if he's trying not to yell. He's striding closer, dancing around the computer as if he expects it to explode before he turns his attention to Tony, swatting at him. "Bad, very bad! Oh my god, you're going to die. I'm going to die. We're both going to fucking die." He steps back so he can fully appreciate his own dramatics, but the sad thing is he's absolutely sincere in his panic.

"Oh, there is part of your wardrobe that doesn't sparkle." He mutters to himself before getting up out of the chair to walk towards Trey with his hands up juttering them down in a gestures of 'be quiet'.
"No one is going to die. This is nothing." He gives him a serious look. "There's nothing here for you to see, go home, slip into a martini then go to a party."
He stands between Trey and the computer, the screen is small and pathetic but the computer itself is quite obviously a tower that's been stuck together with glue and determination, big enough to have the power to get into anything Tony needs to get into... Almost anyway.

Trey is self aware enough to acknowledge that, he's also aware enough to realise that he should probably hush up despite all instincts telling him otherwise. He presses his lips together firmly, raising his hands for a moment so he knows he's calmed himself down at least a little. He could probably take the out, considering how he reacted he probably should. Something defiant flares in him anyway and he pulls a face, dropping his hands so he can fold them over his chest.
"I'm not slipping into anything, jackass." He says with all the petulance of a scorned child. "We both know you're not supposed to have that. So go on, indulge me. Explain." He's trying to act like he's calm and in control now, but he's jittering terribly on the inside.

"Well, I'm not working for the rebellion." He starts with which is true, for the time being. "I'm just staying fit."
Because hey, breaking into 'hard to access' systems was something Tony's been doing since puberty, and while for the moment he's being completely selfish with his access using it to mess with the capitol out of spite for trash talking Thor and in general wanting to be a nuisance to them. As being able to do this actually helps him feel calm, really he could almost call this therapy.

He lets out a slow exhale and shrugs, bringing his hands together to fiddle with one of the cuffs of his jacket. "Okay, well. I wouldn't know if there was a rebellion anyway, so whatever." He half mumbles that, as if he's very poorly rehearsed it before.
"Have you ever heard of treadmills? Yoga? I mean, this is..." He gestures at the computer in front of them. "That's a thing. Are you really risking your life so you can build something and do nothing with it? Because I might be a Capitolite but I am not stupid, sir."

The eyebrow lowers slightly as Trey says he's doing nothing with the computer, but it does make him smirk a little because it at least means he's been tidy enough to not raise that much of a suspicion about him.
"Remember that frog. With the dancing piano?"
Is all Tony says in reply to that.

As usual, the best reaction to Tony is a simple narrow of the eyes and a faint recoil as he considers what's being implied here. It takes a moment, if only because Trey hadn't paid a particular amount of attention to it, but then it clicks.
"Was that.. Was that you?" He steps in closer again, brows still furrowed in confusion. "Why? I always wondered, what the fuck did it have to do with anything? Were you just doing it because you could or is it like. I dunno. Is it a code? Do you guys do that? Use codes?"
no subject
He starts as he turns back to his chair and sits down, going back to typing.
"I was getting tired of hearing them talk about Thor. So I interrupted the feed." He pauses. "Then, I broke into their system to find out where they were keeping him." Sure, it was him and Bruce who did it. But Tony wasn't about to out the guy.
no subject
"And did you?" He's sincerely curious, a brow raises and falls as his expression becomes more subdued. "I'm sorry it was all for naught. He's dead now, isn't he? ..Or is he?" Trey doesn't have a strong understanding of what Thirteen is or does. He can only assume that Thor is either dead for real or back in prison.
no subject
"When we found him the capitol had him. Then he tried to kill me in the arena. Now?" He shrugs. "I can't find him on the Capitol servers I have access to." He runs a hand through his hair and sags his shoulders slightly.
no subject
"Oh.." He isn't even sure what to say now, he barely sounds confident with the despondent noise he makes. "Well- would it say if he's dead? Would you know if he was? It's not like he can just be missing, right?"
no subject
After all, there's more than one dossier on him that states him as hard to work with in team situations he has no doubt.
"He's not dead or missing. Best guess is 13 got to him. Because the Capitol keeps meticulous track of everything." He pauses to look around the secret monitored room. "97% of everything anyway."
