Who| Jack and YOU!
What| Jack adjusts to life in the Capitol.
Where| District 10 suite and the training center
When| Today
Warnings/Notes| He's an evil technological genius from a children's television show, what could possibly go wrong?
As soon as Jack was alone, he was fiddling with the watch-like communications device they left him, figuring it out and trying to see if he could hack the system. A project for later, maybe. Right now, he had to find his way around and see if any of the Monks or other Heylin were here. First stop was the bathroom, because that was an essential. It was doable, pretty fancy, he would make do.
He checked out the other rooms in the suite, even peeking into other bedrooms to see if anyone was there.
After thoroughly checking out his new Suite, he took the elevator down to the floor that gave the Training Center it's name. He checked out the assortment of weapons, passed the climbing equipment-- he could climb just fine, thanks. He'd gotten really good at it what with all the climbing-centric showdowns.
What attracted him was the giant screens with information running across them. It looked like... information on poisonous and edible plants? Never mind, boring. Perhaps some other mode was available? He operated the touch screen, checking out the different training modes.
Boring, boring, boring, boring! "Booooo-ring! Ugh!" He kicked the machine, scowling.

"What are you--" And then he noticed it was just a kid. Okay, well, a teenager, but still, not exactly a threatening figure. "Uh...hello?"

Not that they didn't put it on him, he just took it off. A small act of defiance. One he would have never done if it wasn't for Simon teaching him to accept what he was. Before, he'd have put it on himself, and been diligent about ensuring no one ever saw him like this. Not even himself in his own reflection.

"These ARE a bit basic, for them, I suppose. The First Aid stations have a bit better of a simulation if you'd like to see a demonstration?"

"You see, we can set this for simulating, oh, any kind of injury." He demonstated the controls, setting this one for a concussion. "This way, we work through whatever is harming our patient and we can avoid the mess of using or finding a real person to practice on. It...has been quite a help."
