Tell me do you think I'm dumb?

D2 Suites

Felicity wasn't just livid when she saw the broadcast footage of Eponine cuddled up with Grantaire. She was humiliated, utterly. At last, she'd started to come to terms with herself, with her attraction to women, lowered herself to Eponine's level, and now what had Eponine done? She'd carried on with a man! With Grantaire, of all men! The indignity of it all! Felicity could scream, she was so appalled by everything.

"I'll kill them both!" She declared to no one in particular as soon as the mandatory viewing period had passed. "Those awful creatures deserve each other!"

D3 Suites

She entered the third floor suite uninvited, not caring at all if her presence there was unwelcome at all. She was angry and she was going to make that rage known to whoever she happened to come across first. And then, when she was done, she'd find that troll of a human, Grantaire, and beat the hell out of him. And when she was done with that, she'd tell Eponine exactly what she thought of her. And then Felicity would be satisfied and superior once more, and all would be right with the world.

Training Room

Once she was sufficiently calmed, she made her way to the training facilities. She'd been bested by Roland last time, unable to use her weapons skills against someone who was simply stronger and faster than she was. It was something she'd need to work on. What good was a dagger or a bow if she was pinned down beneath a man who had the strength to keep her down.

She still was a bit clueless when it came to strength training, but she would work on it on and off by herself, peppering in her routines of fencing and archery as needed to liven things up. Four Arenas in a row she'd made it to the end. Arena 13 she would win, so help her God.

"Here? Not much. Not with you anyway." At least if she could see through him and didn't buy it, he didn't have to fake it. It wasn't that he had a problem with the duplicity so much as that he didn't care to bother if it was unnecessary. Some people needed the act, some didn't. If Felicity would work with him without it, so much the better. He shrugged. If a gesture could be terse, this one was it.

"They are hideous, aren't they?" He focused on the images of Grantaire and Eponine floating on replay across the screen. He'd met the man before. The camera did nothing to disguise his bloated, flushed, and drunken quality. His skin alone was enough to make Calendius thankful for his spa technician.

"You could do better, you know." In layman's terms, the girl was hot. He looked at Felicity, giving her a quick but obvious once over. Yeah, she could do better. "I don't just mean physically. That Eponine girl is either stupid or crazy. Maybe both." And that, at least, was genuine.

"So be the one doing the burning." A note of impatience slipped into Cal's voice. Felicity could back off entirely, sure. But in his opinion that would not only be a waste of a perfectly good publicity opportunity, but also probably bad for her emotional development. Everybody had a heartless ex or two lurking somewhere in their past. The trick was to not let one or two (or a few) bad experiences ruin sex and love entirely.

And besides, Felicity was the more attractive one here. She deserved to win this. "Don't let them turn you into a nun or something. You can keep your head held high. You're not the one who fucked someone who's weirder looking than Leo."

"Yeah, he's awful." Cal couldn't help himself. He broke into a smile, less at her reaction and more at the confirmation that Grantaire was in fact a hideous, monstrous parody of human existence. Either way, it made his lips curve to reveal gleaming teeth while the corners of his eyes scrunched up displaying crows feet that seemed to conflict with his otherwise teflon face. "I totally agree. Vile is a really great word for her, too."

Absently, he scooted closer to her. When he spoke again, Calendius' tone edged on conspiratory. "I'm serious, though. You can murder them all you want in the Arena, and probably get away with messing with them outside of it. You've been scorned, and you're on the right side in this. Everyone will sympathize with you and hate them, so play it up."
