In a moment she was put at ease, knowing that her faith in Torin was well founded. Of all the mentors she could have had, he alone seemed not only competent enough to train her, but also willing to help her survive and unconcerned with the frivolities of the Game. Felicity needed to survive, and Torin, she was certain, would be the man to teach her.

"I should like to learn all of that." She nodded eagerly. "It's twice now that I've been pinned down and killed. I'd much rather have the drop on my opponent than be taken by surprise again."

Then she added quickly, "Jet has taught me to use knives. And Sonja taught me to be better with a sword. I can handle them both well, along with a bow. But unarmed I fear I am handicapped."
