Mission: Capitol Liberation
Who| Bucky Barnes, Enjolras, Joan Watson, Punchy, & Marius Pontmercy.
What| Liberation of the idiots.
Where| The Tribute Center
When| January 1st
Warnings/Notes| N/A
This leg of the mission would require more stealth and discretion than anything else. The team would go into the Capitol, making use of the smuggling method the rebels had established and make their way into the Tribute Center. Bucky, Enjolras, and Joan would be provided with elaborate disguises to aid in their infiltration if necessary, otherwise they would be very much on their own. The hovercraft couldn't wait around for them and they would have no back up in case something went wrong.
It wasn't until they were nearly to the Capitol that their targets were revealed. Punchy and Marius. Wait... Punchy and Marius?
Doubts as to their suitability as soldiers aside, the trio's mission was clear. They had to be in and out of there and at the rendezvous point before 2300. It was 0700 when they were dropped off. Plenty of time, right? Right?

"No offense, but you're not giving me trustworthy vibes right now, so I have no reason to tell you anything."
But he was still blocking Bucky from sight and had lowered his voice some, so there was something to that, at least.
"It involves District 13. That's where I'm from." It was dangerous to basically admit he was a rebel outright like that, but the fact Heinrich was too was barely a secret and that much Bucky did trust. "So you can either help me or hurt a cause I know you support."

He needs to talk to this man more than in the lobby like this will allow, but if Bucky shrugs him off this time, he'll understand. Still, there's important information to be shared and a very specific request he has to ask.

But, then again, that might already happen considering they'd shoved themselves away into some corner. Being across the street would be no different than hanging around outside.
Bucky replaced the mask and his hat and stood with a nod to Albert. At least Bucky knew he wasn't lying about the blind spot. "You have ten minutes at the most."

He leans against the wall and offers Bucky a cigarette, getting down to brass tacks immediately while doing so. They don't have much time, he's not going to waste it. "Information, materials, rescue, or a strike against the Capitol?"
no subject
"Rescue. Anything else we can manage is bonus. What do you want, Heinrich?" It had to be something otherwise he wouldn't have been brought into a blind spot to talk.
no subject
He takes a long drag of his cigarette and puffs out the smoke in a small stream between his teeth and lips. "Whatever you need in exchange, I'll do."

He very nearly said no right out, but held his tongue when he remembered names on a list and notes left next to them. Still, he had to check to make sure, otherwise this might not work in 13's favor after all. He purposefully took on a considering look, as though seriously considering the offer.
"What was it you did before here? You were...in a group or something, right? What did you do, what was your role?"
no subject
And he considers it a fair one, considering the score of other people he would love to see rescued. Terezi, Delilah, Felicity, so many others who don't deserve this nightmare. Children, all of the children. It cuts at him internally to not ask for them at all, but...
Love gives him a certain priority structure, and Jet is at the top of it.

"I think it's a fair offer. But I need a little more. What about your husband, what was his role?"
no subject
"He was reconnaissance and point-man. We both have decades of field experience, especially in guerrilla warfare, working either alone or with a team."
no subject
Still...Bucky could see a political moment when presented with it and he needed to think of District 13 and the rebellion, that was what was important here.
"Thank you. Alright, Heinrich, a condition. I'll put word to those who make the calls and see that your condition is met." For now, he still had a mission to ensure succeeded or he wouldn't be talking to anyone but Peacekeepers in the near future. "Was that all you wanted from me?"
no subject
"Yes. Go on. I'll stay out here a bit longer to allay any suspicion that I wanted more than a cigarette and a friendly chat." He blows some of the nicotine through his teeth, hardly at ease but at least feeling as if there's some progress to be made.

Soon enough, at least, though who knew how that meeting might go depending on how the extraction went. But that was for another time. With a tip of his hat, he turned and wandered back into the Tribute Tower as though simply a Capitolite fishing for the attentions of any tribute he could.
