This was wrong. Very, very wrong. One minute Leonardo had been cut down by the Shredder and completely blacked out, the next he wakes up in some weird place and thrust into some weird area. Well maybe not weird, it looked suitable enough. But the terrapin really didn't care at the moment, the only thing on his mind was what the shell was going on and how did he get out of it?
He only stepped in a little bit before he felt his knees shake and he had to grasp them. He was still shaky and in pain in various areas. His throat was the worst, he wasn't sure if he could even fully talk yet. He took in a breath, which caused a harsh cough to go through him, as he straightened back up.
He couldn't afford to let his injuries plague him right now. He needed to know what was happening. Find anyone who can help him understand why exactly he was here and what he was going to be thrown into. Because whatever it was, it wasn't good.
And he didn't like it one bit, he was pretty sure of that.
[B] [Training Center]
He was right, He did not like it. At all. This was... bad. Especially with how he was now. How was he going to survive this? Get back to his family like this when he could hardly throw a punch without feeling pain somewhere?
Eventually Leo tired of being in the suite and decided to go check the rest of the place. As he observed, things definitely seemed off. He didn't like how there were so many... Peacekeepers, was it? He definitely felt like he was being kept prisoner. Being forced to fight in some games... it was disgusting. He'd really like to just fight back against these guys and make a break for it now...
Just as he nearly collapsed and had to catch himself on a wall, Yeah, that would work out so well right now.
He groaned as he leaned fully against the wall, now feeling the strain from pushing himself too much. He cursed his horrible luck. As if worrying that the Kraang were invading his home and about his family's safety was bad enough, now he had to worry about being a captive by someone else entirely and fight various people just for these idiots sick amusement. Just...
"Can anything ever go right. Ever?"
Well... he didn't cough this time, though it still sounded raspy. But he meant what he mumbled to himself. His luck stinks. So he just crossed his arms and stood there for a while, trying to think of what the best course of action was to now take.

Re: cw: blood, violence
What he had just seen... what he just saw Donnie become... alternate universe or not, it was Donnie. There was no denying that. Seeing him that way... looking like an insane murderous madman... covered in what he thought could be gallons of blood...
It had been too much.
He leaned back up, leaning heavily against the seat. His breathing was hard and a trail of vomit was doing down his lip. The kid looked completely horrified, biting his lips and his blue eyes still wide with horror at what he had just seen.
"I... I can't believe... how... why...?"
He couldn't put his thoughts into words. It was just too sickening toe ven process right now.
Re: cw: blood, violence
"Donnie went through alot. Like I keep saying, you gotta adapt to the situation or you break completely." After a moment she added, "Aren't you guys supposed to be ninja? What is it you think Ninja do?"
Harley had met her share of Ninja over time and not a single one of them had been peaceful.
Re: cw: blood, violence
But still... seeing his brother like that... no amount on ninja training could have ever prepared him for that.
He wiped the vomit trail from his lip and took in a breath. Nothing could make the horror in him go away. Nothing. However his expression went to one of seriousness and coldness. He was putting on his leader mask. He had to, if he was going to even be able to comprehend any of this.
"We adapt to what comes at us. That doesn't make it any easier to see... to see your family turn into a psychopath. But if you think that that means I;m going to turn into a scared little boy who can't handle any of this, then your wrong. No matter how bad this is... no matter how sick to my stomach it makes me... nothing is going to stop me from getting through this or getting back to my family."
He gave her a hard look. One that was the total opposite of the horrified boy that he was a minute ago. He was already adapting, like the ninja he was.
"I'll fight, and I'll win. For my family... for Donnie. ANd no way in Hell am I going to let anything stop me."
Re: cw: blood, violence
"That's the spirit. Just remember green bean, being insane isn't the worst thing that can happen to someone. In fact sometimes it's all you've got."
The Avox arrived to clean the floor while Harley passed Leo the Donnie doll.
"Donnie came to a crossroads. He could either go insane, or let this place destroy him. And he made the choice that kept him alive longer."
After a moment she added "Keep the doll, I've got plenty more. After Donnie and I kissed I decided I wanted a little momento of him to always remember him."

...then Harley broke the mood with that last sentence.
"...right, gotcha. Thanks"

"Well it's not like we were dating. But he needed someone and I just happened to be there. It was in the arena with dinosaurs." She explained offhandedly.
"The fans in the Capitol love a good romance, even if it's just the one they invent in their heads. I'm sure Donnie got a few helpful items out of that.

He got up, slowly and carefully to not fall over. He still felt shaky, but not as bad as before.
"I think... I better go to my room and lay down. That was a lot to take in. But... thanks for showing me. It made me sick to see, but... now I know what he went through and what to expect. That'll help me fight for him even more."

"Go rest up, if you need anything at all don't hesitate to ask. The Avox may make you uncomfortable but...well given what you're gonna be going through you really need to pamper yourself so you heal faster."
And then she blew him a kiss because...why not?

"I'm sorry Donnie. I wasn't here for you... to protect you from all of this. I'm so sorry... but I'll make this right. I'll fight, and I'll win. For you. And if not me, then I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that Raph survives and wins. And despite what everyone says... I'm not giving up on you. Until I see a body, I'll believe that your alive and that once we get out of this, Raph and I will find you again."
He knew that he was talking to himself. That Donnie wouldn't hear him. Still, it made him feel better. And he wasn't lying to himself either, he had to believe that Donnie was alive. If he wanted to fight on, he had to.
"I'll find you Donnie... We'll find you. Just hang on little brother... just for a little while longer."
He closed his eyes and in the blink of an eye he was asleep. He'd rest his worn body for a few days and study what he could, then he'd get to training. He'd win, no matter how long it took or what he had to go through to do it.
