Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties...
WHO| Tony, The Avengers, and everyone else.
WHAT| Tony's woken from death and is now seeking the Avengers that died before him, Dave and Bucky too.
WHEN| 2nd of the 10th
WHERE| D12's floor, The commons of the Tribute Tower, possibly out on the streets.
WARNINGS| Thoughts on and talking about death, Maybe swearing?
District 12's Level
When Tony came too in his room his first instinct was to gasp for air. After all, dying from toxic dust you were immediately aware was not only in his body, but had managed to breathe in enough of it during the explosion to essentially leave him not only poisoned by internally hemorrhaging from coughing too long and too hard.
When he realised that he could in fact still breath and that his lungs were clear, Tony spared a thought to Thor, after all, when Tony realised how bad it was going to be he left Thor in the night, having to give mercy to Bucky had been hard enough on him, and Tony didn't want him to go through that, let alone see Tony get to that point. Hopefully Thor didn't take it as an insult, especially not after they started getting along.
Sitting up Tony got himself changed into something he felt more comfortable in, just a t-shirt and jeans before heading out into level 12's common room. Paying no mind to the Avoxes (After all it's not like they can talk to them, and he hates being handed things so they have no real reason to interact) He grabs an apple and walks to the elevator. After all it was a good time of day for people to be leaving their rooms, so Tony was going to go on the hunt.
Tower Commons
He wanders slowly around the commons of the tower, keeping his eyes open for the familiar shapes he was looking for. While he doesn't presently look all too open and obviously amused at the world, right now he looks determined and focused. If it's one thing Tony knows he can rely on is that Bruce, Bucky, Dave, Steve and even Anna all have pretty distinctive shapes to themselves making them easy enough to pick out of a crowd.
Even if the crowd is full of equally weird looking tributes sometimes.
Various drinking establishments.
If he was being honest with himself, Tony might say that the bars were calling to him. But considering his last foray into the world of marinating in liquor had him waking up without his hangover cure of coffee and donuts, Tony felt that maybe he should at least hold off on drinking for... Maybe an hour. So he chose to convince himself instead that he was looking for the others.

He's just ordered water, and the bartender is giving him the stink-eye. Whether if it's because of his order or because of the traitor cuff on his wrist, he doesn't know. He doesn't care. He just waits, his knuckles white on the glass that he hasn't touched. He almost shattered it in his hand already.
no subject
The second he sees Bruce he heads straight for him, completely ignoring the bar and the disgruntled man behind him. His eyes clearly searching every visible inch of his most trusted scientist. Then glances at the cuff.
"You've been out here all this time and you haven't bedazzled that?"
Because saying, 'It's good to see you're safe and not still mutilated' is hard.
no subject
There are a lot of things he could say. How are you holding up? Have you ever heard of a breathing mask? Why on God's green Earth would you teach a twelve-year-old how to demolish a building?
But the answer to all that is the same. He's Tony.
"Speaking of the blackout, you do anything interesting? I stayed in and kept the kids calm." And that is the most blatant lie he's ever told, and Tony would probably see right through it, but cameras are everywhere, as he's become more than aware. He has to wait until he can get Tony to a blind spot before actually explaining anything.
He's not addressing the elephant in the room. The fact that they both watched each other die, one much more personally than the other. But he's not good at feelings, so he instead communicates with his eyes, which are still checking Tony over for injury, even though he intellectually knows that the Capitol would have fixed them all.
no subject
He shrugs with a sniff, glancing around the room looking at the shapes of the other occupants more than pay enough attention to them to notice anything about them before returning to Bruce. Tony knew that Bruce wasn't being on the level, and he knew why. But at the same time when the blackout happened there really wasn't much for Tony to do, he was already in a chaotic situation that could really have been made that much more chaotic.
Bruce wasn't the only one silently checking, once Tony was certain the front of his friend was in good working order, he gave up the subtlety and just started circle him as best he could to continue checking that everything is alright, while at the same time actually keeping his hands to himself just incase, as if touching him would make him become nothing more than smoke.

The bottle of scotch and pack of cigarettes on the music stand could also potentially catch Tony's attention, if he decides to investigate.

So he leans on the piano as he plays.
"Tell me, Sam. Wouldn't happened to have had Rogers, Banner, the second Barnes, or the kid strider tip you today at all?"
no subject
As if expanding variations on a theme, whatever amorphous song Albert had been playing turns to familiar strains of 'As Time Goes By'. "The last arena was harder than usual on a lot of tributes. Frankly I'm not surprised if they make themselves scarce for a few days. Especially not Barnes." Who seems to be scarce even at the best of times.
no subject
"How did he look?"
After all, Tony was the one who died the least beastly death this time around so naturally his concern was for those who died before him, wanting to reassure himself that they were fine, now that he started to actually give a damn about them.
sorry for the delay, had to check with Bruce-mun
Lol, hardly a delay!

She saw the man coming out of where the bedrooms were and watched him, she remembered him from the screens. Tony.
"Hello." Even though Effie was gone now Pruna did her best to remember her manners. Even if everyone thought she was an awful traitor.

After all, he's had Fury threaten to make him attend children's birthday parties before. He lowers his hand and slowly starts to chew as he just watches the girl.
"So, do you sleep in a flower box, or have you got your own garden?"
no subject
Even traitors got beds here it seemed. It was weird but Pruna was not complaining. "Do they be making you be sleeping in a flower box then? Do you be being in trouble?" It would be very cramped she thought, and cold if it was outside.
no subject
"You need to ask your parents to read to you more." There's a pause. "Or your nanny."
When she brings up being in trouble he looks at the cuff on his wrist.
"That. All depends on your definition of trouble. Which you aren't going to learn about until, Middle school or something. But in my opinion, no. I sleep in a bed, and I was only technically in trouble."

He wants to know how far this punishment from the capitol is going to go. How much he'll have to endure in the face of loss. And unfortunate gain.
His eyes cast in the direction of the elevators and that's when he sees the man. The relief is like a cold bucket of water, he almost feels guilty for it, but he also doesn't know what happens to those who die and don't return or return without memory.
Standing, he approaches the other man, "Welcome back."
no subject
Which okay sure isn't going to be that much of a wealth of knowledge because he can't admit to knowing every inch of Steve, but he at least knew enough to know what parts of the man should and shouldn't be intact. So when he is certain that Steve is otherwise fine he stops back in front of him.
"I give it a month before they start making brands a fashion accessory because of you."
While he doesn't outwardly look relieved, he does look lose his tense posture which came when he saw the brand. Internally he is actually quite pleased that Steve is physically fine.
no subject
"Then you'd be surprised by my drop in popularity." The brand has changed things for him, people ask him to leave establishments and refuse him service, so he doubts he'll be making any such impression.
"It's good to see you," he's more glad than he intends to admit.
no subject
Tony admits before he stops in front of Steve. After years of doing things that pissed off any number of people, groups, or corporations he knew for a fact that memories while long lose power and while it could take months for Tony to become beloved again, Steve being the sweet and charming thing he is would easily half the time of Tony.
When Steve admits it's good to see him he pauses before looking away for a second licking his lips almost selfconsiously before replying.
"Uh. Yeah, God to see you too."

Commoners tower
For all the confusion however he knows one fact; which is that Tony and Thor stayed with him to the end, just as they said they would. Some things just can't happen without forming attachments as Bucky has been given a crash course in learning these past three months.
After Tony dies -- alone, choking -- Bucky waits for the next day to come and time to tick over to when Stark should be resurrected before seeking him out. The commons of the tower is this the most likely place to run into others and his assumption is proved correct when he identifies Stark through the crowd.
He'll make a quiet approach, allowing Tony to see him as he does, "You're back."
Look who got his long hair back, Tony.
no subject
"And you, need a hair cut."
Tony says with a flat expression, which is slightly ruined by the amusement in his eyes.
no subject
Stopping in front of him the former-assassin looks thoughtfully at the strands of hair in his peripheral vision and then back at Tony, nodding. "I need someone to cut it first." he answers, noting the amusement in his expression.
Because Bucky doesn't trust the D1 stylists at all, besides, they like the long hair so they wouldn't cut it anyway, even if he asked.

When the tribute album dropped in the Capitol, he'd been quick to download it onto his panempod and slower to figure out what song related to him. He spins out of the elevator, used to how deserted the tower has been later, putting on a high-pitch as he sings. "Give it to me baby- uhuh uhuh- woah," he stops midway through a hip thrust when he realises Tony is milling around, and by this point it would be impossible for the other man not to have seen that.
"Good morning, mister Stark. A pleasure as always." He forces the smarmy tone, raising his hands to rub them over the buzzed parts of his undercut as he pushes his headphones down.

messcreepinessdancething. His immediate reaction was just to raise his eyebrow at the scene, the is until Dave had brought his attention to the new hair still he was sporting."Lose a bet?"
While the haircut didn't look all that bad on him, it still looked weird enough to Tony who was used to the kids last hairstyle to not at least attempt to comment on it.

"Here I was, greeting you all polite-like, being all formal and shit and you're just going to rip me to shreds like that. Like that." He gives him a long, hard look before he shrugs. "My stylist wants what my stylist wants. I am a humble slave to their whims, blah blah. You look like shit too, by the way."

She's milling about in the entryway to the Tower when she spots Tony. "Mr. Stark! Over here!" She calls out enthusiastically, waving a free hand. "I've got something for you!"

"If that's a funeral wreath, not only will I say it's bad taste, but it's also kind of small."
He knows from her own pink crown exactly what they are, but that doesn't mean he's going to at least fight it a little.
no subject
She's not deterred, however, and jostles it toward him. It's made up of red and gold roses; she got the idea from a sneak peak into the Marvel shop during the arena. "It's a flower crown! I made this one just for you."
