Dean had recently woken up back in his room, and was happy to be out of that hell of an arena. Sure, being stuck with Alistair and Lucifer had been bad, but that was a pretty close second, especially after Cas was gone. Plus, he missed the comforts of a real bed and not overly tight clothing. But he had to get out and move around, at least from his room. So he changed out of the clothes he was put in to sleep and into what had been laid out for him, and headed into the common room for his district.

Grabbing the newest edition of Celebrus, got a drink, and plopped down on the couch. He knew about the curfew, and that was one of the things he wasn't overly fond of about the capitol, among other things, though this was a new peeve to add to his list. But that was completely blinded when he read an article containing his name. Something about him sleeping with Anna? What? That never happened. He never slept with Anna.

Throwing the magazine across the room, he grabbed his drink again and leaned back against the couch, sighing. He'd love to be able to see Cas. Or Ari. Someone he knew. Anyone he knew.

District 7 was just a floor away from her own floor. Of late, Ariadne hadn't been that inclined to leave the tower, and that meant that she was stuck either drawing on the roof, or visiting Tributes floor by floor until she found someone she knew. A good number of them were back already - the Games were nearly wrapped - and that meant she at least could visit a couple of people without fail.

Her feet had carried her to the District 7 door without warning, and she frowned to herself as she stared at it for a moment. At least she had two different reasons to be there - Dean and Momoko - neither of whom would be all that questioned. Hearing something thrown across the room, she tentatively opened the door, rapping on it to get Dean's attention when she realised it was him who'd been doing the throwing.

Not that surprising, actually.

She glanced back over her shoulder, just in case there was someone else behind her; somehow she doubted it. She took it as invitation enough to step into the room properly, a little smile playing on her lips.

"Somehow, I just knew you needed some company," she told him simply, the words almost flirtatious though her tone was telling nothing. "I take it you saw the latest issue of Celebrus."

Part of her wondered why he was getting up for her, but seeing as she didn't actually mind one way or another, she let him approach, meeting him halfway. "Maybe you made your encounters with her too memorable."

"Maybe. I can't say I hate not really being mentioned. But I suppose it's more about the Tributes themselves than the Victors," she replied, hands slipping up his chest, briefly letting herself enjoy the warmth of his body. In a way, she was glad she'd never have to meet up with him in the Arenas, though she didn't doubt her ability to kill him if it came to that. It wouldn't, thankfully; it was a moot point.

She merely shrugged, unperturbed by the suggestions the magazine made. It was just a tabloid, desperate to get some kind of reaction from people. If it didn't, then it wasn't doing its job properly. So she ignored it, for the most part.

"It could be worse, as things go. They could be insisting upon it, and not giving you any choice in the matter."

She opted, in the end, not to talk about anything at all. Mainly because she was lost as far as a better topic went. Instead, Ariadne leaned up, one hand cupping the side of his neck to gently bring him down to her level so she could pull him into a soft kiss.

Even if the chances of someone walking in on them were remarkably high, given the tendency of the various Tributes, Stylists, Mentors, Escorts, et cetera to come and go from their common room, and even given Ariadne's tendency to love prying into people, kissing - in this scenario - was better. She could tell it was better. So she leaned into it, pressing herself against him, mostly to brace against the height difference between them, and let him deepen the kiss as he saw fit, going along with every little movement, her hands slipping around his shoulder properly.
