What's a young princess to do?

WHO| Chibi-Usa and anyone that comes across her
WHAT| Our pink-haired girl is coming to terms with everything
WHEN| 01- August
WHERE| D7’s floor, the Training Centre, and the Shopping districts
WARNINGS| None

District Seven’s Level

After being told she had been brought here to fight to the death for ‘glorious Panem’, given her communicator and credit card, in a daze Chibi-Usa allowed herself to be directed back to her districts floor and to her room. Once there she slept for the rest of the day willing herself not to cry through most of it.

The next morning she wakes with a start, at first thinking it had all a bad dream, rubbing at her eyes her first thought was to tell her Mama. After all she had just gotten home from staying with Usagi. As she starts to climb out of her bed she thinks maybe that dream meant Usagi needed her again?

It’s then she wakes up properly and looks around the room realising that she really had been kidnapped to another world.

What if she wasn't the only one they brought here?

“Usagi!?” she shouts as she comes running out of the room.

Training Centre

After talking to the people on her floor, Chibi-Usa comes to the training floor to look at it. She really doesn’t like what she sees, just so many weapons and people using them on each other. At least it didn’t look like they were trying to kill each other right now.

To say she was looking wide-eyed and befuddled would be an understatement, after wandering around she sits down on a bench, bringing her legs to her knees and sighing deeply.

“How am I supposed to help everyone here?” She hugs her legs tighter. “Puu, I really wish you were here right now. I even miss Usagi.”

Shopping Districts

Trying to get everything out of her mind, Chibi-Usa takes some time wandering the shopping district looking at a great many things but not actually trying to buy anything. There were so many crazy outfits, and strange things to have she was actually feeling a little overwhelmed at it all.

Where are all the normal clothes?

She soon finds herself standing in front of a window with a dress in the window that looks more like some crazy kind of mix of a pink marshmallow and a rice ball that was covered in glitter. She’s spending a lot of time wondering if it’s something to wear or some joke costume that could be edible.

Chibi-usa doesn't need to know that he has, any more than she needs to know there are people in the world who will hurt children willingly, in such ways that a giant spirit rabbit with the softest spot for children is willing to simply remove them from the world.

The Arenas are not the circumstances for killing. That would be bowing to the wills of the sort of people he, under full power, would have already removed from the world.

"That's a good start." He assumes she means nothing more than being good at dodgeball, though that 'get out of the way a lot' worries him. She doesn't seem like someone's abusing her, but some kids are better at hiding it than others. "Y'wanna get some practice in?"

The Capitol may be full of sadists, but those sadists appear to have actually consulted with people who train well, because they have actually provided things tributes can toss at each other without causing actual injury.

"Hang on a tic."

He lopes off, returning with a rubber ball that wouldn't be out of place in any school gym. There's an argument to be made for having Chibi-Usa train with actual weapons, but Bunny is ignoring that argument, at least for now. Screw training immediately for the reality of the arena. She's a child. She shouldn't have to be good at dodging anything more painful than a rubber ball exclusively for fun.

And anyway, he's got to get some measure of how good she is at that at present before leveling up to actual arena weapons.

"I'm no slouch when it comes to thrown weapons, but I want to see what you've got before I give it my all. We'll work our way up, all right?"
