What's a young princess to do?

WHO| Chibi-Usa and anyone that comes across her
WHAT| Our pink-haired girl is coming to terms with everything
WHEN| 01- August
WHERE| D7’s floor, the Training Centre, and the Shopping districts
WARNINGS| None

District Seven’s Level

After being told she had been brought here to fight to the death for ‘glorious Panem’, given her communicator and credit card, in a daze Chibi-Usa allowed herself to be directed back to her districts floor and to her room. Once there she slept for the rest of the day willing herself not to cry through most of it.

The next morning she wakes with a start, at first thinking it had all a bad dream, rubbing at her eyes her first thought was to tell her Mama. After all she had just gotten home from staying with Usagi. As she starts to climb out of her bed she thinks maybe that dream meant Usagi needed her again?

It’s then she wakes up properly and looks around the room realising that she really had been kidnapped to another world.

What if she wasn't the only one they brought here?

“Usagi!?” she shouts as she comes running out of the room.

Training Centre

After talking to the people on her floor, Chibi-Usa comes to the training floor to look at it. She really doesn’t like what she sees, just so many weapons and people using them on each other. At least it didn’t look like they were trying to kill each other right now.

To say she was looking wide-eyed and befuddled would be an understatement, after wandering around she sits down on a bench, bringing her legs to her knees and sighing deeply.

“How am I supposed to help everyone here?” She hugs her legs tighter. “Puu, I really wish you were here right now. I even miss Usagi.”

Shopping Districts

Trying to get everything out of her mind, Chibi-Usa takes some time wandering the shopping district looking at a great many things but not actually trying to buy anything. There were so many crazy outfits, and strange things to have she was actually feeling a little overwhelmed at it all.

Where are all the normal clothes?

She soon finds herself standing in front of a window with a dress in the window that looks more like some crazy kind of mix of a pink marshmallow and a rice ball that was covered in glitter. She’s spending a lot of time wondering if it’s something to wear or some joke costume that could be edible.

Sigma had made a point of going out in public more often since he had revealed his 'allegiances'. After all, how was one to fake that they allied with the Capitol if one never left their room? Though he hated crowds and open spaces made him anxious, Dr. Klim forces himself to window shop, strolling and paying little attention to the garments he's supposed to be inspecting. His thoughts are occupied with far graver subjects than fashion...

It isn't until he comes across another Tribute that Sigma snaps from his reverie. He recognizes this girl; she was one of the poor young souls assigned to his district when he had arrived here. On a day he'd fallen ill with shock, she'd brought him medicine to assure he didn't have a heart attack... Later, he would force an Avox to write down her name, hoping to get a chance to thank her. He never saw her again.

Until now. The Doctor rushes forward, hoping not to frighten her. He knew well of the existence of other universes (and the possibility of being pulled from a different one), and there was a chance that the recognition would not be mutual. "Please excuse me. Would you happen to be one named 'Usagi Tsukino?'" He wonders if he should add do you remember me? to the end of that sentence, but holds his tongue. He was not particular proud of the fact that he had scared the poor child to death.

Sigma opens his mouth to speak before thinking better of it. Ah, so this wasn't the same girl who had found him half-dead with shock and had been equally startled. But she was very likely the same person, and Sigma feels gratitude nonetheless. He clears his throat and takes a step back, reading her nervousness.

"Forgive me. My name is Zero. There was once a kind young girl by your name who lived in the same District quarters as I do. She once did me a great favour, one I never had the opportunity to repay. You are new here, isn't that right?" He hopes it will be a sufficient explanation to clear away any misunderstandings.

"Yes. She even shared your likeness. In my experience, our hosts"- as if they were somehow selfless and not their captors- "may take us from different universes or points in history as often as they like. My son, for example, came from a different place in time than I had - several times, at that. But as you are clearly not the same young lady I knew, we will not dwell on it any longer. It is a pleasure to meet you." Sigma gives the slightest of bows. Out of touch, he is not certain how to introduce himself to someone so young.
