There is no such thing as justice [CLOSED]
Who; Rose and Anna
What; Rose teaching Anna to fight this will be so very successful.
When; Backdated to the 3/7
Where; District 4 to Training Center
Warnings/Notes; N/A atm
It hadn't taken Rose that long to work out a pattern to the training center and when it seemed most empty but she hadn't been in any hurry to fetch Anna. Other things caught her attention and in truth she's still a little annoyed at herself for the way Anna had so easily talked her into saying yes. It was a foolish thing to do, in the end no matter how much she taught Anna she knows they're both going into the arena, just like she knows she won't be able to protect her. May end up having to be the one who kills her one day.
There are others she has to protect and she knows she can't extend that to a girl she's just met.
However, a promise is a promise and Rose Lalonde is not the type to break her word. Well, she is, when needed, but she has the feeling that Anna would just track her down so she finds her way to the District Four suites, slipping in quietly. She sent a message on the communicator but she did tell the girl she'd find her, and who knows if she's been able to work out the operation of the technology. Better safe than sorry.

She straightens up on one of the lounge's sofas when Rose's familiar form appears in the doorway.
"Hi!"
no subject
She's easy to spot, even before she pops up and Rose nods quietly to her, looking up to glance around the room, curious to see if there's anyone around to see this and quietly pleased that it's not.
"Are you ready?" she asks, despite the apparent answer to that. No need for assumptions here.

magicallysummons the elevator.but I don't want to fuck the html
She catches the look Anna gets when she presses the button, laughing a little to herself. "This is all still new to you then?
keep fucking that html
"Yeah," she admits. "They don't have any of this stuff where I'm from. It sort of threw me for a loop, actually!" Still does, really. Like, on a daily basis.

"None of it?" she asks, clasping her hands in front of her and watching the floors whiz by. "No wonder the communicator is difficult for you to grasp."

She recognises the way Anna raises herself, raising a brow. "You've studied ballet?"
no subject
"Yeah, a bit! It's still sort of new-fangled in Arendelle, but a dancer from one of those big Eastern countries came through and gave me some lessons." The elevator dings and the door slides open to reveal the foyer to the Training Center.
"Ooh, we're here!"
no subject
"That's good." It's shows for one, that Anna is capable of learning, Rose having been a little unsure before. It also shows she have some grace to her, and she may even be light on her feet, something Rose can work with. "How well did they say you were doing?"
Rose steps through the doors as she asks, in a gentle glide that she's long perfected.

Once they enter the training center, Anna looks around and notices that it is indeed as empty as Rose had predicted. She clasps her hands together. "So! Where do we start?"
no subject
The corner of her lip quirks at Anna's glance around though she isn't insulted. Of course she got it right, she's good at calculating probabilities, even if there is little she can do with it now. And so she turns back to Anna, contemplating the girl in silence.
"What do you wish to ideally achieve from this all. Do you just want to become a better physical fighter, or are you hoping to ideal specialise in a weapon?"
no subject
Crossing her arms, Anna scuffs her toe against the gym floor, feeling a bit awkward. "I s'pose I mostly just don't...Hm." She looks up at Rose, and her gaze is a plea for help. "I don't want to be useless, next time. I want to know how to defend myself without having to stab anyone, you know?"
no subject
She studies her, even as she stretches, crossing one arm over her chest and holding it in place, giving Anna a little nod in hope that the girl will understand she should copy. "You may have to stab them. There are plenty here that feel the same as you, but there are also those who don't. And that's not including the way they can apparently affect and change our personalities. If it came down to it, if you had to do it to save yourself or someone you cared for, do you think you could kill them?"
no subject
And, well, Rose's question isn't unfamiliar to her. It's something she's been asking herself over and over. She doesn't want to be a killer, and even though she's practiced stabbing and cutting and shooting arrows, it's different when there's a real person on the receiving end.
...But if it could save Elsa? Or Dave?
"..Yeah. Maybe." She screws up her face in determination. "No. I can. I could."

Rose shifts, letting her arms swing to her sides before repeating the move in the opposite way. She's still thinking on what else to teach, watching Anna closely to see how she moves, and what will be best.
no subject
"I'm not gonna chicken out."
no subject
She lets the stretch go, shaking her limbs out loosely before she starts. "There are a few spots that are good to know, for basic spots. The groin, is a good one for male or female as it will hurt if you put force behind your knee. Solar plexus." She taps her torso, just under her bust. "Again, enough force and you'll wind them."
She gives Anna another critical look over before deciding to be bluntly honest. "You're small, and you don't look that strong. Ideal you should plan to be quicker than your opponent, use you agility and small size to your benefit. It would be important for you to not let them grab you, as with your size that would become difficult for you to get out of."
