      (CLOSED: Thor Odinson)
[ Keeping up with the Avengers is tough work when you're a) not really fit for the leadership role and b) half of them come from an universe that isn't your own. Natasha's capable of coping when pressed against ridiculous situations, but she knows others aren't. Tony took to drinking away his feelings, Bucky collapsed in on himself and put up his walls, and the rest she's not intimately familiar enough with to notice the changes. Thor has always seemed the jovial sort and even when faced against crisis after crisis, he could still appreciate the finer things in life.

But how well does he handle the finer things in death? Dying is no easy thing to come to terms with and while each of the Avengers have their own way of grieving over their own deaths, Natasha knows they suffer. Men can't unload how they feel on the shoulders of another (it's a guy thing), but they feel more inclined to when the person who inquires is a vulnerable woman. Soft, charming, and everything they need means she's keeping herself busy going from suite to suite until she's certain they can be left well enough on their own.

Between the disaster that is District 3, the illness, and the chaos spread throughout the network on various subjects, Natasha knows now is a crucial time. Heroes will feel the need to rise up and make themselves known; it's her role to keep them from doing that. A self-appointed guise, but one that was necessary. Some men knew how to keep their heads lowered, but a dangerous storm was brewing overhead.

That and there were other matters to discuss. Matters that were tricky albeit necessary to bring up sooner than later. Sneaking into the District 7 suite is easy enough with a pleasant smile and no one seems to question it when she heads for a room; such is her earned reputation. While the sound of water indicates she ought to wait, she takes it as the perfect time of catching a man exposed (in more preferable ways than others) and hopes there's a bit more privacy to be found.

At least she slips inside with a towel wrapped around her just in case he blushes easy.

      (CLOSED: Rose Lalonde)
[ Freshly bathed in new perspective, Natasha finds herself letting loose the reins of vengeance for one of her fallen comrade's. If he held no ill will towards his assassin, why should she? Despite the obvious reason (murderers are murderers while killers are killers), it was frankly no business of her's on how her companions handled their deaths--only that they didn't draw unnecessary attention and land themselves in an unreachable place. This gave her the opportunity to investigate these butchers on her own--and how fortunate she is that one of them shares her suite.

While it may be boast worthy to talk of bringing an Avenger down, she's watched Rose come and go in the suite before. Something of a recluse meant it's possible she was like Natasha in a sense and she can't have that, can't have a murderer replicating her behavior. The line was already thinned here and while it perturbed the killer known as Natalia Romanova herself, there was no need to show any of that. Not when she can greet the woman with a welcoming smile with a dash of sympathy matched only in tone.
]

You were one of the newcomers thrust right into the Arena, were you not? How dreadful of them. Just when I thought this place couldn't sink any further, it has to go and throw that kind of surprise. You didn't do too badly despite that, did you? [ If anything, she's great at convincing not only those around her that she cares, but herself. After all, death was disheartening no matter what. ]

[It's could be considered funny, the amusing sort, the way Rose has skilfully avoided her own district mates, her only contact really with their shared stylist. She's spent plenty of time chatting with those from other districts, learning what she can about them and their experiences. And when she wasn't gathering information she was collecting her own thoughts, either in her room, or up on the roof. It was proving that being a night owl was a benefit to her here too.

But she was bound to run into one of them sooner or later, so Rose isn't too surprised to find Natasha bumping into her when she comes back down from the roof, smelling faintly of nicotine and holding a tablet to her side. She's not even surprised when she speaks, Rose tilting her head ever so slightly as she studies her]

I managed. [She picks her words carefully, tone neutral as she studies Natasha. The redhead is clearly showing sympathy, but Rose doesn't find herself trusting it. Amusing, because she's played similar cards before to get information, and she stays where she is, curious somewhat on where this could go.] As for how kind or cruel it was... I have a feeling that those who plan these games care little either way.

Outside of that I doubt they have interest. [She says, seemingly agreeing. Oh she's fully aware that they want a good show, and perhaps someone else would have freaked out more. Rose had only found herself rolling with it, and the way she had so easily made the choices she had still sits like a stone in her gut.]

[She straightens her head from it's little tilt as Natasha continues and Rose wonders where she's going with all this. Does she expect her to brag, or show obvious guilt? Because Rose intends to show neither.]

As I said. I managed. [She waits a beat before continuing, curiosity getting the better of her] Did you have a question you wanted to ask me?

[Death had been a strange thing to Thor, seeing as how it had come so quickly. He hadn't felt unmatched, but the depth of Rose's supposed curse and powers had taken him by surprise. He did not know if he managed to kill her, he doesn't particularly want to know either. With all that has happened, he feels his death is somewhat inconsequential. He thanks the powers that be for the opportunity, because he intends to use it somehow.

Now is a time to make every moment count and yet simultaneously, it is a time to tread with caution. He knows it as well as his allies know it, he's never been a cautious man. He's not a careful treader, he's a fighter and a loud one at that. If not for the fact that it's been made abundantly clear that rebellion does not only come at the punishment of him but multitudes of innocent people, he would not have kept himself in check so well.

What he seeks now is guidance, and he wonders where to find it. There are those amongst them who know these situations better. He's a leader by heart, but he's paid his dues and learned to follow orders in his time. It's difficult to find a moment of peace, even when he's sleeping or eating or bathing. His mind is whirring over everything, his death, his killer, the innocent people and little ones in danger and his brother are constant worries. It seems a time to seek out information, and he can imagine who may know a little more than himself at a time like this.

Despite being in the shower, he's long since finished the act of cleaning. For a long time now, he's stood under the cascade of water with his head raised and his arms folded over his chest as he contemplates Panem at large. The sound of the door clues him in to the entrance of someone, but he seems surprised to see just who it is.]

It has been some time. [He says simply, not seeming to question the fact that she's here of all places. At least, not yet.]

More so than most places. [He says agreeably. Unsurprisingly, she'd been the first person to properly encounter him here, but he holds no doubt that they're still watched.]

If your intentions are admirable, I've nothing to fear. [He gives her a wry smile, but it falls into a more serious expression quite quickly.] What troubles you?
