INTERVENTION
Who| Elsa and those who think she'll do something stupid
What| Elsa is minding her own business when she's swarmed by worried people
Where| Elsa's room
When| Shortly after Cruentus and Penny's post goes up
Warnings/Notes| This is mostly silly and dumb so not really
[Elsa's been through a lot lately, to be honest. Some of it good, some of it bad. A lot of bad. She's taken to keeping to herself a little more than she had before, in an effort to stay relaxed and not do something stupid. The last thing she wants to do is make another mistake and have to do another public apology, or upset more people. Being yelled at once was enough, she doesn't want a repeat of any of that.
Today, she's taking it easy by reading a book- a book on architecture. The Capitol has some really interesting buildings, so she's passing the time by learning about it. Overall, she's feeling pretty good, and completely oblivious to any announcements that are being made.
She certainly isn't expecting to be bothered any time soon.]
[[OOC: As discussed on plurk, there will be no tag order her- this is mostly just for stupid fun. It's an every man for themselve type deal with everyone demanding Elsa's communicator to prevent her from doing something stupid. Threadhopping is encouraged. This will probably be messy. I'm so sorry.]]

[She doesn't know what Harley finds so hilarious or how to react to Dave trying to shoo them away other than to ignore him for the time being, so she's just going to focus on Elsa.]
They've turned at least a few people affiliated with us tributes, or who were tributes, into avoxes and tortured a couple others and the wanted to give us a warning about what they're willing to do and...well, can you really blame us for being worried?

He weaves his way closer to Elsa, taking his rightful place as knight of the dumb table by her side, nudging his shoulder up against her in a comforting way.]
I didn't think you'd be posting again, just wanted to make sure you weren't freaked out. [He pauses.] I wouldn't watch it, if I were you. Definitely not on a full stomach either. [He gives his own a comforting rub. Too much junk food and irl gore spam do not make for a good mix.]

Then Don confirms that Anna is fine, and she can finally breathe. She really wishes one person would speak for the rest of them, because this is so overwhelming, she doesn't know what to do or who to focus on. She looks from Dave, to Harley, to Clara, Don, then back to Dave.]
Harley, is now the time?
[As much as she loves Harley, the woman definitely doesn't have a good sense of tact. Her eyebrows are furrowed when Clara begins explaining, and while she isn't as upset as she would be if it were Anna or Dave, her stomach definitely does drop at the thought.
She allows Dave to speak, before speaking herself.]
Well, I'm freaked out now. Who did they hurt? If you don't want me to watch it, then I need a list of names. Please.

[Harley prattles off the names demonstrating the depth of her knowledge as a mentor before adding]
I'm gonna miss Cecil's broadcasts the most. He always had such a soothing way of keeping us up to date on things.
[it seems that now that she knows her tribute isn't in danger and her nose is no longer stinging Harley's mood is perking up again.]

[It suddenly occurs to him that out of everyone in the room, he was the only one who had ever known a time when Holly Sheer wasn't an Avox, even if he'd barely met her. Or who had known the first Shepard beforehand.]
...yeah.

Elsa stumbles back over to her bed and sits down heavily, her chest tightening as she finds it hard to breathe.]
Not Effie...
[It's true she doesn't know her well, but she can see her face clearly. Hear the softness of her voice as she worried over her that night. This hits a little too close to home for Elsa, and she doesn't know how to handle it.
Her head snaps up, when Shepard leaves Don's lips, though.]
What? Shepard, they- They hurt Shepard?

[He shook his head.]
Jane Shepard...there was another one I knew before. She was the first Victor of the Quarter Quell Arenas. She was also from District 9...the first Mentor I met when I arrived in this place, right after the end of that first Arena.
[He looks guilty, as if by not telling her or that by not preventing her fate, he was culpable in it. Even though he knew it wasn't so. It didn't make it feel better.]
She was Avoxed around the time of the fourth Arena. Her and Holly, they both...they were paired up together another time after that to give us another reminder about our situation, also.
