(no subject)

 WHO|  Don&Plutarch, Riddick&Lilium, Max&Elias, and Anna&Nathaniel
WHAT|  Scoping them out for rebellion potential.
WHERE|  Various locations
WHEN|  About a week before the new arena.
WARNINGS/NOTES| This is our first time doing this. Forgive any mistakes. Also this is not a promise you will get into the Rebellion. And if you fail, it is not a promise you will never get in. There will be a thread for each of the pairing, set up by the NPC half (it may take a day or two for your NPC to get up a thread)

Whispers of a rebellion could be heard, even if you didn't know where to look.
Many lived blissfully in ignorance, of course. But it didn't take a lot to realize that, when you killed people's children, they tended not to be happy with you.

But whispers of a rebellion and an actual rebellion were very different things.

Especially one happening right here, in the middle of the city. That was unheard of.

"How? I can't imagine...losing that would be unnerving."

She looked human, but...looks could be deceiving, clearly. It seemed, from the way she talked about it, to not be a natural change.

She shrugs a little bit. "I was a test tube baby, made by the government. The best of human DNA spliced with feline DNA. I was bred to be a good little soldier, a killing machine on behalf of the good old US of A."

Something like a mutt, than. A far more advanced one, than he has ever heard of. Then again, who knew what they had in the bowels of their facilities.

"This was...another time line obviously, but before the dark days?"

She shrugs. "As you know of 'em. The days after the Pulse were pretty damn dark."

Because she expects he'll ask, she explains, "A bunch of terrorists deployed an EMP over the United States - what Panem used to be called. Destroyed most of the computer networks and communication systems. Society kinda crumbled and it all went downhill from there."

"Sounds like the United States is pretty screwed, no matter how it goes."

It wasn't a very lucky place. He sighed, looking over at Max. hew was glad to have talked to her, he had some interesting things to bring back...but this would have to wait for another day.

"I should get back to my Tributes. I'll see you?"
