WHO| Don&Plutarch, Riddick&Lilium, Max&Elias, and Anna&Nathaniel
WHAT| Scoping them out for rebellion potential.
WHERE| Various locations
WHEN| About a week before the new arena.
WARNINGS/NOTES| This is our first time doing this. Forgive any mistakes. Also this is not a promise you will get into the Rebellion. And if you fail, it is not a promise you will never get in. There will be a thread for each of the pairing, set up by the NPC half (it may take a day or two for your NPC to get up a thread)
Whispers of a rebellion could be heard, even if you didn't know where to look. Many lived blissfully in ignorance, of course. But it didn't take a lot to realize that, when you killed people's children, they tended not to be happy with you.
But whispers of a rebellion and an actual rebellion were very different things.

Especially one happening right here, in the middle of the city. That was unheard of.

Sorry about the delay!
She grins in return. "That would probably be the twelve-year."
Sorry right back. silly work trip :P
:3
"Scotch it is." She replies, trying not to let a smirk of her own slip. Wouldn't want to make it too obvious that she approves of Riddick's mentality, would she?
Returning his card to him after swiping it, she reaches for a glass. "So, how have you liked it here in the Capitol?" A casual, conversationally posed question, as she selects a bottle of scotch from beneath the bar, opens it, and pours some into the tumbler.

After all, as far as he knows, she's a "fan" of the games just like everyone else here. He picks up the drink to toast her with it, tosses it back.

So his brows go up a little, but his expression doesn't change more than that, and he sets the drink down carefully. "Depends on who's asking and whether I'll be shot for answering, I suppose."

He's wise to be so cautious. Clearly he's done his homework.

He tilts his now-empty glass to consider it, and turns the conversation around: "Or should I be askin' you the same question?"

Turning away from him to fix a drink for another customer (who appears utterly uninterested in their conversation) she replies, "Maybe you should be."

Nothing in there that can get him in trouble yet. Plenty that could get her in trouble, if she's sincere and somebody else is listening in.

"I'd probably be looking for allies, people who might have the same viewpoint as me."

"Mmm. Outside the arena?" Because that answer is important. Who outside the arena would be trustworthy, after all? He still hasn't even discerned who might be trustworthy in the arena.
no subject
"Outside of the arena." She confirms.

A man, also dressed as a bartender, comes up and peers into the bar at Lilium. "And that's my shift. Nice talking to you." She gives Riddick a short wave as she leaves to trade off with the man.
Hopefully she'd be seeing him again.

after the next arena.
Got to make sure he doesn't wind up punished in any way. Riddick is nothing if not cautious, when it matters.
