Where history gets made

WHO| Ian G and Eddie
WHAT| Ian and Eddie run into each other in a club
WHERE| Anomaly
WHEN| After the crowning but before Ian gets grabbed by the peacekeepers
Notes/Warnings| Probably at least mentions of drug use, awful butchering of history ala Anomaly, very slight references to bidding. I'll add any more as they come up

Ian looked around the club, fighting the urge to roll his eyes at the scene. It was ancient Rome. At least ancient Rome if you had learned all your history from bad movies but he had been in the Capitol long enough to know they never let the truth get in the way of... well anything really.

His costume for example, he was not sure if gladiators had actually worn so few clothes but he was pretty certain that none of them had worn makeup. But his stylists had told him, many times, that this was how it was done in Anomaly.

He looked to the side to the guy he was meant to be with. He was deep in conversation with someone who looked important. Or at least looked like they thought they were important. Ian rolled his eyes, someone should probably tell them they looked stupid in togas.

But not him, he wasn't that drunk. Yet. He looked around again at the waiters stood around the edges with jugs and then at the dance floor, seeing if there was anyone he recognised.

Eddie was here for about the same reasons as Ian. At least his host tonight was a pretty laid back guy, for the Capitol, and also way more interested in partying than anything else.

Eddie was all wrapped up in some ridiculous looking toga thing, and had pulled himself away to find a drink when he ran into Ian.

"Hey man, what's up!" He said with a wife grin, holding open an arm for the kid.

"Thanks. Dig the look you're rocking as well."

It was a light hearted dig, brotherly almost, although Eddie was use to much nastier brother digs. But really, everyone here looked like an asshole, so he wasn't too worried about it.

"How you been? Haven't seen you since your last run around the death-go-round."
