Who|| R and [Semi-Open] – PM me if you want to bump into him so I can write a prompt.
What|| R wakes up to realize he’s a zombie all over again and the Cure, in fact, wasn’t a cure after all. He’ll be in a funk. Mostly he’ll be blocking traffic (cue finding him in the District 4 shower, creepy-staring, or else where). Basically R needs cheering up, pep-talks, even the awkward ones telling him he’s better off as a zombie.
Where|| Around the Tribute Tower and Training Center. Also District 4’s suite.
When|| After reviving in the Capitol from Howard mercy-killing him and before the next Arena. Basically a catch-all.
Warnings| Zombie references, depressed zombies.
Prompts in the comments for each character. Heads up I may be slow posting, so a post per day or every other day (so backtag central?).

"Here...good...?" R seemed like he just wanted to get this over now that he had been cornered. He wondered briefly if this was some kind of Victor advantage she had over him, why she'd managed to corner him compared to, say, Howard. "Talk now."

Now she was just as cornered as he was, really. Maybe, on some level she had the power, but she really didn't. Peeta did, apparently.
He was gonna owe her for this.
"Julie's gone."
Tactful, Everdeen. Also, stating the obvious. But hell, she didn't know how to comfort...well, anyone, really. But a zombie whom she didn't know too well was hard mode.
"Are you ok?"
If he was she wouldn't be here. But it seemed a solid starting place.

"Not...okay," R admitted. He had the general idea Katniss could see that, despite asking. Maybe she was like him: trying to find a way to lead to the real meat and bones. "Sad. An...gry? How...to...understand?"

She trailed off, looking up at him. Did she know what it felt like? If nothing else, she at least had always been in the same world with her loved ones. If she died, she was buried at home. They would know.
"Or not talk. Just...do something else." She finished, feeling lame. But it was a sincere offer. She weirdly enjoyed the zombies's company. Even if this wasn't her forte in communication.

He pressed a hand to his chest, the fingernails permanently blackened with dirt and where blood might have settled when he died. Talking his feelings out didn't appeal to him, for a change, and he appreciated that Katniss had anticipated that. Talking it out wasn't always the solution. There were different hurts, R was learning, and different ways to digest them. R's hand drooped to his side.
"Dis...traction," R somehow gets that big multi-syllable word out. "Mindless?"
R has some ideas but as they're aimed for zombies, he's not sure how much Katniss might like them. A lot of staring at walls, mostly. There's a reason most corpses don't have that many hobbies to begin with. Maybe Katniss has some better ideas.

Which, in addition to not being her forte, seemed like it would just be frustrating and time consuming for both of them.
"At home I would just take you to the woods." If she could get him over the fence. But this was all hypothetical anyway. "Maybe we could find something...natural. An aquarium or something peaceful like that?"
Someone had been going on recently about the aquarium, and fish seemed about as mellow as you could get.

He's not sure why, if it's because of the shade or the whispering of the leaves or even if it's because they block out the sky, break up that great big emptiness. It takes awhile for him to remember what an aquarium is. He's been to one, he thinks, before he died. It's just when he thinks "large bodies of water", he gets a funny feeling in what's left of his rotten guts. He'll pass on the aquarium.
"Forest seems...guh-good. Caves...?" R offers an idea of his own, almost shyly, those strange silver eyes of his fixed on Katniss.

Then again, they might be super pleased, who knows?
"There's the hot springs?" She knew there would probably be caves if they could go explore. Maybe even some they could get to. "Maybe some we could find hiking?"
Slowly.
