After some uncertain time...

It wasn't the same room. Some was half sure of that. Nothing in it looked familiar or unfamiliar, but the view was wrong in some way. Lower. Better, he thought. Farther away from the sky. His sharp-toothed mentor told him, in a barrage of other details, that whatever he'd gotten up to in District Eight before, he was in Two now, and he had better get into shape. He stared out his window until she left, letting his breath fog up the tinted glass and hide details of the sharp-edged city outside. Nothing out there looked familiar, at all. How long had he been... elsewhere?

When he was sure she wasn't about to come back, he slipped out of his room himself, leaving everything he'd been given on arrival on his bed, to explore empty-handed and see just how far the fragments could take him. He followed voices and scents, looking for familiar faces. He was careful to make some noise, not wanting to sneak up on anybody. They were all here to kill each other. No sense in provoking that early.

[Some is slinking around, confused with some partial memory loss from his extended time away. He's starting on District Two's floor, since that's his new home, but he'll also be in the elevator, peering into any other floor, and investigating just generally the entire building. He's looking for anyone who rings a bell, but the thread is wide open for any and all. (Since it's been a while, he looks like this, and stands almost eight feet tall.)]

Blaine nodded. "That's right," he said. He smiled a bit at having it be a grue he knew. Well, the only one he knew. "You're back."

"Yes... back." He managed a smile, the fur on his face hiding the strange. "I think they lost me for a while. This is my district now," he added, with a little gesture of his forefoot. "I am not sure why the change."

"Oh," Blaine said with a small smile. "That's good." He wasn't sure about that wording now that it came out. It was good to see the grue because he was familiar (and he reminded Blaine of the people they had both been loyal to), but it wasn't 'good' to be here again. Not if it meant he was at the whim of the Capitol. "Has any one shown you around? It's like most of the other suites, but I could give you a small tour?"

"Yes, please? I haven't really had the chance, yet." He brightened, partly through sheer will. "Have you been well?"

"About as well as can be expected," Blaine said. He started to move around the suite then, showing Some the main rooms, and pointing out which of the bedrooms belonged to which of the Tributes. While they did that, he looked curiously at him.

"Did you go home?"

Some followed at his side, close enough to brush shoulders, taking in the tour with mostly quiet absorption. At Blaine's question, though, his steps slowed.

"Oh... no. I don't think so."

Blaine frowned a bit. "Do you remember what happened?" he asked. The answer made him worry that made Kurt had been lying when he said that he went home. What if something terrible happened to the ones who disappeared and the other Tributes were just told to believe that they went home?

That was probably a little paranoid, so he bit back his worry as he waited for Some to answer.

"When I... yes, I do." His death was offensively clear, compared to the fog of his day-to-day memories. "And then after... well, I know time passed, but I wasn't... wasn't anywhere at all. Or anything." He looked down, licking his middle lip with anxiety.

"I didn't want to go home, anyhow."
