Really, Kankri found the entire concept of this place absolutely deplorable. He would have no part of it. But until he could find some way to escape his captors, it wouldn't hurt to familiarize himself with the layout of the place. And also to find something to eat, he was quite famished at the moment.

He started in the suite of the district he'd been assigned and herded to like cattle, of course, but soon enough he was meandering all through the building, taking note of its occupants and features with various degrees of disapproval. He wasn't entirely sure of how to approach anyone yet, but he supposed it wouldn't hurt to try for the sake of information.

"You are a clone of him. Or you are him. And stop huffing, we don't have time for you huffs Kankri, there are more important things. And don't walk away, we need to figure out some things." She snaps a little, eyes narrowed as thoughts race through her mind and are then discarded. Why bring him here. What point would bringing another Vantas even serve. Let alone Kankri. Was the new look they were going for with Signless, all teeth and claws like herself, was too boring now? Did they really want that peaceful person back?

Were they not done tormenting them?

"Like why you're here. What purpose does it serve, why bring in you? Were our deaths not entertaining enough? I don't...I don't understand."

Her voice wavers, she just doesn't get it. They hadn't breathed words of rebellion, they had fought, he had even killed. What more could they ask of them?

"You ask as if I should know the answer to that," Kankri snaps back. "I'm sure you can figure it out yourself. I don't care to coordinate with people who can't even respect my identity. Attend to your own priorities rather than assuming mine are the same. Good evening, Miss Leijon."

And he has already started walking. Oops.

She watches him for a moment, head running in circles and throws up her hands.

"You're freaking Kankri Vantas, the one who came before, peaceful and things, how much more do I have to do to respect your identity before I can actually get to things that matter! I'm trying to figure out why they're sticking a peaceful WRIGGLER like you in a death match when they already broke the other version of you. I'm sorry if my priorities are more about keeping people I care about alive and out of trouble and not about stroking Vantas egos!"

And she storms off in the other direction.
