Just one big huge N O P E.

He was supposed to be dead, right? This wasn't dead. Maybe it was angel dead. This whole thing sure was a lot like Purgatory, but... way fancier. There were free drinks here, after all.

Everything happened so quickly, though. One second, Lucifer was standing over him. The next, he wakes up on a metal cot, debunked of all awesome abilities, informed that he's in some sort of twisted Hell, etc etc. One thing was for sure. It was seriously uncool.

But apparently he showed up at a good time. There was no fight going on and, actually, there was a big party going on later that evening that he was invited to. The invitation was mandatory, but details... He really didn't like being told what to do, but he opted to hang with it for now.

On the inside, the anger was close to bursting forth and shanking someone, but he stayed calm and collected. He'd just... meet the locals or something. Learn a little more about the place.

Yeah. Sure.

Gabriel decided to tour the Tribute Tower before the big shebang...

The anger wanted to come back again when he decided to take a jacket along solely because of the chill in the air.

He took a second to mull that over before pulling an unimpressed face.

"What did you just call me?!" Zelos fumed. He was used to either insults, or backhanded compliments, but this took the cake for the most direct roundabout insult ever.

Hey, don't get pissy! Gabriel shrugged defensively. "You asked how dumb I thought you were. Usually people who ask questions want answers, dumb dumb."

This was the most entertainment he's had since waking up.

Dumb... dumb? How old was this guy?

"Why, you... Ha ha, real mature," he rolled his eyes. It wasn't often he met someone who could beat even him in the idiotic behaviour department. Zelos made a shooing motion with his hand, looking bored. "If you're not gonna make yourself useful, you can go."

Quite old and quite immature, yes.

"Was that a command?" 'Cause if it was, Gabriel had half a mind to sit on his lap for the rest of the evening.

"What, you want me to make it one?" Zelos raised an eyebrow. For someone who was being so uncooperative, he sure was obstinate enough to make life difficult.

"No," he smirked, "but I do have a problem with authority."

Gabriel was nothing if not difficult.

"You're gonna have a bad time here, buddy," Zelos snorted. With his blatant attitude issues, he'd be surprised if he didn't get killed off first.
"Do whatever you want, I don't really care about guys."

He knew he wasn't going to have a good time here, but so long as Zelos stuck around, it looked like there would be fun somewhere.

"Oh, but I care." Not entirely in that context, but he still walked closer. Never leaving. Trolling forever. You are now his target.

Dammit.

"Thanks, but no thanks," he said, getting up from his chair and stretching slightly. Maybe if he walked away, the guy would get the hint or get bored. So Zelos started walking toward the entrance of the building, intent on checking out some of the city.

"Where ya goin', buddy?"

Gabriel was nothing if not irritatingly annoying. However, he doesn't move to follow Zelos... Not yet. There will be other opportunities and the time away will allow him to plan their next meeting.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Zelos said with a smirk, not that Gabriel could see it. He threw one hand up as if to bid goodbye before exiting the tower.
