As it happens, Karkat's in District One for once. He's been spending most of his time when he can with Signless--he's still not entirely sure his ancestor won't try to kill himself in penance for his fuckups--but the Disciple's with Signless now and Karkat was giving them space in case they wanted to be flushed at each other and he'd figured that this would be a good time to talk to Terezi about everything that happened.

And now he was feeling raw and stupid and like everything he'd ever known was wrong and he mostly just wanted to be alone in his own block to fret.

So of course some lispy asshole just barges in on him.
