He's confused, taking the honey from her. He almost drops it, but then he wraps his fingers around it and holds it close. For a moment he's angry, feels like she's mocking him, but...she's just a child, and perhaps a child raised on Alternia hasn't had the kindness beaten out of them just yet.

He looks down, feeling the smooth glass of the honey jar and then he sighs, and with it he lets out all of the anger he was feeling. "Thank you, then."
