It's not really relevant to the auction, but Luna's saying it less because she loves the party and more because she wants to tell Sansa a little more about herself. And besides, she doesn't have to lie about finding a world beyond the Rhizome wondrous in any way. They both have to play along and Luna recognizes that, but it helps to be honest in what ways she can.
