The sarcastic remark and the question tacked onto the tone of his answer both give Phi exactly the answer that she needs to know: That Sigma most likely has no idea what she should or shouldn't wear to this outing. Really, it was a dumb idea to ask him in the first place, but after several years of living here, she figured that he might have picked up on something about blending in.

"It's fine. I'll figure it out." There are other people that she can ask. Regardless of Sigma's reluctance to mention Kurloz, that is exactly the person that she intends to ask. It's his job, after all.
