The interviews were... something. Steve had left the whole thing rattled, and trying to hide the fact that he was rattled by keeping to himself - easy when he still hasn't made an effort to get to know too many of the folks around here.

When he makes it up to District 9's floor he heads to the cabinets for some of the food he's stored (canned, everything he buys is canned so far). The little foot poking out from the fridge catches his eye pretty quick, and he stops before even opening the drawer for a can opener.
