Even after a few arena cycles to get his bearings, there are times when Signless needs a break from the glitter and noise of Capitolite functions. He's mainly here for Gary but he's also here to network, and so far that's involved having to smile and nod through several uniquely but equally vapid conversations and hoping one of them might pay off for him and his tributes.

He hit dead ends with every one of them and had to smile, laugh, politely excuse himself. After the last he politely excused himself all the way to the balcony and that's where he is now, taking in the scent of the lavender and how it mixes with the smell of the cigarette he holds in one hand. It's well and truly a habit now -- only when he's stressed, but when isn't a Mentor stressed?

At the tap on his shoulder he turns, and when he sees who it is he manages to drag a genuine (if tired) smile onto his face.
