Fitz smiles, a broad, honest, happy smile. He has had so many doubts and worries festering in the pit of his heart, about whether there was anything at all to find at the end of their quest, whether his king went off alone through untold danger for nothing at all. For the first time, he truly, wholeheartedly believes in his mission.

Of course, he's still stranded here, worlds away from his quest, but that he pushes away for the moment.
