He furrows his brow. "That does sound very useful," he admits, thinking of hours spent jerking meat only to have it go bad unexpectedly, and of vegetables gone to rot in days. "I suppose you've done away with smoky fires and hauling water too. I can see I've a lot of learning ahead of me."
