Ermac was none too pleased about being shoved into this outfit for the Coronation, but like a good construct he knows when he needs to follow orders. Although they're not explicitely said to be such, he takes he escorts' chatter and demands to mean that he is, in fact, being ordered to go to this party and...mingle.

And so, rather than training for his debut Arena, Ermac is swallowing his pride enough to drink a glass of whiskey and listen in on a few conversations.
