She's tempted to take the heels off the second she's seated anyway, though she knows it probably wouldn't look too good on camera. She resents the need of the stylist team to make her look as tall as possible, as though they were trying to disguise the fact that she was a dwarf altogether. She'd never had any particular pride about her race, in fact more often than not she'd resented it, being a casteless surfacer and having to rely on the Carta to survive, but now she found herself wanting to wear a shirt with 'dwarf pride' written all over it. At least it would be more comfortable than this stupid dress.

"Oh, can't complain. Except I can, because I've been in this place two weeks and I've already been eaten by bats, but..." she pokes at her arm, free of even the slightest scratch or bite but still tingling from where the bats had chewed right through the flesh. "I'm told that sort of thing is normal here."
