"Oh, no. I don't think I'll ever be done with leggings. They've become something of a signature item for me."

That and having at least some say in how he dresses is one of the little victories he refuses to give up. Even just that tiny amount of control helps to keep him sane when so many other things here are completely outside of his ability to influence.
