He'd much rather give good solid suggestions than whine and balk and get stuck in something he hates. It makes everyone's job easier.

"Fourteen sweeps of calluses don't fade easy," he says with a toothy grin. "The team before you took over tried to get rid of them. They couldn't thin them down faster than I could build them back up."

He has a feeling she's one of the few stylists here who won't be absolutely disgusted by that.
