The sound of someone kicking the door was confusing, not the kind of response he'd been expecting. For one moment his brain instantly jumped to the worst case scenario involving Peacekeepers, but if they'd been the ones kicking at his door, it would have been a lot meaner and a lot more violent. Probably not worst case.
