Stephen breaks into a laugh -- the kind of surprised, off-guard laugh that you make when someone's said something patently ridiculous.

"No -- no engagement," he says cheerfully. "I don't think there's any danger of that. I don't think I'm man enough to get Porrim Maryam to settle down."
