If there is anybody within this vicinity that has a sixth sense for disappointment, Nick would be that person. Years of growing up being told that he should've done this or that, or that he could've done or been better would make anyone sensitive to what others think of them. Even after all this time he has grown to block it out, and that he doesn't owe Gary anything, he can't help but feel a little bad that he disappointed him.
Damn habits. Maybe Nick just needs to get over the stupid stage fright...which has been the least of his worries.
