Luke snatches the ball out of the air, quiet as he considers Nick’s remark. It’s easy enough to follow his train of thought.
"Maybe." His tone holds more skepticism than it does cautious hope. After all, the Arenas are a predictable ritual and their popularity with the Capitolites shows no signs of flagging. If the timing of the last arena had been well-received by the audience (and how could it not have been, what with the chaos and confusion it must have stirred up among tributes), it could very well happen again – and he’d rather brace himself for the worst than find himself completely surprised if he’d be jerked out of bed in the small hours of the coming morning by a friendly neighbourhood peacekeeper.
"I'll see what I can find." He offers, making for the refreshments table. "Oh, an’ uh…" Pausing, he half-turns with a wry, warm grin on his lips. "...try not to have too much fun without me."
