Somewhere along the line there was a grave miscommunication, and it takes Signless's brain a little bit of puzzling to realize exactly where. He places a hand over Roland's wrist with enough force to hopefully communicate 'stop that, you adorable idiot'.

"I meant that you might be more comfortable sleeping without your jeans on," he says, and while his voice is gentle there's definite laughter behind his eyes. "We can do that later, maybe, once you aren't half-asleep."
