Signless took a step back when he noticed that eye twitch. It wasn't because it was off-putting (though it was that) but rather because perhaps a little more distance between them would put this strange man more at ease.

"Quite possibly. I'm not from here, no, and I assume you aren't either." He didn't really need to assume. It was glaringly obvious.
