Of course Aang would have some kind of writing implement on him at all times. He likes to draw on any surface, and a lot of the time it turns out to be on his own skin.
He notices how Bucky seems to be drawn to the big red star that Aang knows is under his clothes. Of course. The star must have been put there by the same people who gave him the arm.
"I think I could put them together somehow. You'll see; I'll make something nice for you." He holds out his arms, the designs he drew there already fading in the training center's harsh lighting. "Air is the element of freedom, and water is the element of change. They're easy to bring together."
And Bucky could use freedom and change right about now, he bets.
