Jason digs into the food with a hunger that makes him nearly uncouth. It's only when the food is in front of him that he really realizes how much energy has been sapped from him. He puts off the coffee until he has a cushion of breakfast inside him but that's about all the rationing out he can manage.

Between chewing and wiping at his mouth with a napkin, he raises an eyebrow at Swann.
