Only when business is done, when plans are settled and squared away and Tony has wandered off, does Sam act on the suspicions he’s had since Kurloz asked him to bring Tony for a meeting.

He lingers, stepping in front of his friend with a raised eyebrow.

“What happened?” He assumes Kurloz is going to know what he’s talking about, considering he probably didn’t miss the way Sam was watching him during most of that conversation. If he doesn’t - or pretends like he doesn’t - Sam’ll clarify, but for now he just waits, wanting to see his response to that.
