Really, it doesn't matter that she's in front of the sink -- what she immediately starts vomiting up is entirely liquid. It is, at first, orange-tinted, exactly as she said, but then it runs clear as her stomach empties and there's nothing left to come up except pure acid that burns her throat and makes her eyes water until tears run down her cheeks just from the overflow.

When it's over, she leans her cheek on the cool porcelain of the sink, the weight of his hand pleasant on her back that way.
