From where he sits he can see his hands clench at his sides and for a moment he wonders if he'll see claws again. Still, if anything the Northman is used to keeping his cool, it couldn't be helped those first few days when he was forced into the arena with nothing but a few words. Now he had more time to recollect himself, feel more himself and well, when you had someone turning demonically transformed in front of your eyes there was only a few things that came to mind and one of those was defence and pacify to figure out more of the situation. Still, he doesn't move from his spot and keeps his elbows on his knees, looking up at the other watching the anger from his face begin to drop ever so slightly.
His smile broadens, amusement lingers his gaze when the other speaks the sarcasm just as apparent as his digression. He could stand, he could be intimidating but he's just a kid from what he can tell and as soon as his ego begins to show, the smile turns into a sly smirk and a bemused laugh catches his lips, mocking in it's own way, but humoured nonetheless. Once the chuckle faded he leaned back on the bench, tapping his foot on the ground as he spoke to the other, accented voice clear and slow.
"Don't be so eager to put yourself in danger." Was the first thing he said, a phrase uttered by fathers to sons and companion to companion. Death was one thing, dying a warriors death was the focus of his culture but that didn't mean to throw ones self brazenly into situations, be strategic, when the gods come for you, they will come. "My intent was not to attack, but to pacify, until your claws came out."
Relaxing against the back of the seat he is in, the Northman slowly arches an eyebrow.
"Yet, you're friend came to your rescue. Will you be holding it against me, boy?"
