Clara's tempted to point out that, really, she can't blame his Tributes. He's unnerving, at best. Instead she gives him a halfhearted nod. "I'm sure they'll come around someday," she says, trying to sound as convincing as possible. "But I'll try to keep that in mind, though I doubt that's going to do much good with at least one of mine."

Not that she wants to connect to Tom at all anyway.
