If he said anything about the relative safety of life in the Capitol vs life in the Arena...well, Clara wouldn't be able to voice her disagreements out of fear of what they'd do to her or to someone she holds dear in retaliation. But if she wasn't living in fear, she'd disagree, considering what the Capitol's proven to be capable of.
"I think it'd be hard to look worse," Clara says sardonically before she leads him towards where she's set up the breakfast spread before quickly ducking into the kitchen to grab a partially filled glass to put the flowers in so they can be used as an impromptu table decoration. "Thank you for them, by the way. They're beautiful." Okay, so maybe in hindsight, inviting him may not have been the greatest idea if only because of how awkward things are between them. But at the same time, this is downright pleasant compared to...every other time they've been in the same room. "So, what've you been doing recently?"
