It's all it will take, we'll go down in history
Who| Everyone in the Tribute Center (plus various Capitol citizens are in attendance)
What| A Saturnalia inspired extravaganza!
Where| A large, festive ballroom
When| Tonight!
Warnings/Notes| N/A? Let me know if this needs a warning!
Jennifer had spent weeks on the preparations for this glorious night, arranging for the food and gifts and music and dancing. Everything would be perfect, and she was certain all the attendees would have a marvelous time. And besides all that, this would be a perfect way to celebrate her husband's return to the Capitol! It had been weeks since Arturas had any time off to spend at home. Surely he'd be delighted by the fanfare and revelry.
The invitations stated that the party began promptly at 6:30, to bring an appetite, and be ready to dance. The attendees were instructed to dress in costume, to participate in the role-reversal theme of Saturnalia. Capitolites were to dress as Tributes while the Tributes were to dress in the most outlandish Capitol fashions imaginable. Jennifer herself was wearing a replica of the District 2 space costume, bedazzled and covered in crystals, for an extra glamorous kick, while her stoic husband sat at his table with his politician friends, dressed in an ice skating costume, a throwback to Arena 11. Clearly he had business to attend to, so it would be up to her to see to the party.
She made her way toward the entrance and prepared to greet everyone.

Since actually meeting her after his more recent death, Tony had been noticing her about more and more, and at this moment while at the party, noticed her almost drinking herself around the globe. Something he can say he's done before and only vaguely remembered some reasons while it was not something he wanted to repeat.
He can't tease her too much, as he has a scotch in his own hand, while he was dressed in a deep blue suit with white, yellow, and pink crystals arranged on the fabric in different sizes to look as if he wrapped himself in a galaxy.

"You know. I think I actually had that on a banner at a few of my parties." He says more towards the deceleration than to the whisper. "Want to sit down and join me in some crackers and dips?"
There was a time Tony would happily drink it up with a far from sober woman, usually drunker than the woman was. But there was just enough like for this girl that he wants to attempt to lessen her morning hang over with something other than liquid in her stomach.

"I would say, you wouldn't find a nicer partner for dinner, but really I'm more of a fun than a nice person to eat with."
He says as he picks up a plate of caramelised apple tartlets to offer to her.

He's done it enough times to know that plain donuts get noticed for being placed on a park bench than one with icing and sprinkles, that's for sure.
"Failing that I try to get reactions out of Bruce and Steve. Or build match stick towers."
His eyebrows knit as he admits to the last part. Out loud that sounds really lame and boring.

He's rambling, he knows that. He also knows he didn't have to vaguely justify why he doesn't keep ending up nude on YouTube anymore. He wants to blame the fact she game him something more of an honest laugh.
"And here, I'm not sure if naked is really a bold statement. Unless I was on a Zebra, I guess that would do it."
