Slumber Party
Who| All adult Tributes
What| Slumber party fun times!
Where| The common room
When| during the Chilren's arena
Warnings/Notes| For those who earn tickets, please see this thread to post who they send them too.
The Tributes are told to arrive back at the Tower by 4 o'Clock. Anyone not there by 5 will in fact find themselves nudged home by their friendly, neighborhood peace keepers.
Everyone finds a set of P.J.s on their bed, and although there isn't any particular theme to them, none of them fall under normal, and all lean towards the children's side of things. Footsie P.J's, knee length plaids in bright pink, polyester frilly princess night gowns. And although the night isn't saturated in it, pink and purple are solidly the color code of the night.
Once everyone had been dressed, even if it is by force, they are all hearded down to the common room, which has been decked out. Pillows are everywhere, and large chunks of the floor have been changed into giant beds. The whole room is geared just slightly larger, to give the tributes the subtle but inescapable feeling that they are smaller. Gauzy curtains separate areas of the room by activity, but most furniture has been removed, sans a few scant pieces left for party purposes. Each Tribute is passed over a bag, blues for the boys and pinks for the girls. Within are a selections of goodies-face masques, a small personalized blanket with their face printed on it, and a check list of the activities. For every activity completed you get 5 tickets to send to any kid in the arena, and for completing them all you get a 20 point bonus.
On one huge wall, the Children's arena is broadcast across the whole wall. No matter where you may be in the room, you can see this wall, and the majority of the pillows are gathered around to watch it. An avox near the side of the wall will take any earned tickets and get them to the Tribute of choice in the arena, who will receive it with their next ticketed activity. Directly across from it is a huge table, dripping with every variety of junk food. Pizza's are piled high, and whenever the pile runs low a "delivery" avox will bring more. Chips, soda, cookies, and even more hand made variety of junk food like buckeyes and pigs in a blanket are spread across the table. And there is always an avox near by to "spike" your pop.
Pillow Fight: A padded arena for two is set up, with pillow armor and stuffed weapons.
Make Overs: A small salon is set up, full of ridiculous supplies like wigs, tattoo stencils, and rainbow make up. Nothing is neutral here. There are no stylists however, just lots of their toys for the Tributes to play with.
Fashion Show: After your make over you can walk over to the dressing room, full of things that are all over sized. Shoes, dressed, boas, all made sized up as if the Tributes were children themselves. You must walk the fashion run way to get points.
Video Games: A whole gaming area is set up. However the only game is a fighting game programmed with all the Children Tributes as characters.
Cup Cake Decorating: Just about everything is here to decorate, including decadent things such as live flowers and real gems. Everyone is told they must submit a cupcake for judging, the winner gets 20 extra tickets.
Spin the Bottle: Much like the traditional game, except the bottle is full. Take a swig of whatever is in the bottle before you drink, and it makes you feel much better about having to play spin the bottle after just one shot.
Seven Minutes in Heaven: Two participants are chosen at random throughout the party and hurried into a large closet for 7 minutes "alone," which anyone outside the closet can see on the monitors on the wall behind the closet. Which your character may or may not have seen before being rushed in.

So of course she is rounded up and stuffed into a rather small enclosed space only to find Thor looming over her in all his not very dressed glory.
Damn, he really should have his hair back like that more often, which is an absurd thought to be having at a time like this but there it is.
"Thor."
This isn't awkward at all...
no subject
He can't be too surprised when they summon her to play this game with her. He's not sure if that's excitement or nerves that he feels fluttering in him briefly, but neither are welcome.
"Sif." He responds with a nod, folding his arms over his chest as if sensing her discomfort. "Have you kept out of trouble?" He remarks casually, trying to force himself not to feel awkward.
no subject
She misses Thor something fierce as well, cursing her idiotic heart every single day for getting between them and putting a strain on their friendship. This was exactly why she didn't want to tell him about her feelings, why she did not think it worth the risk.
She leans against the wall and shrugs a little, and is a little relieved to find that in spite of everything the wry little smile she gives her friend is not forced.
"Will you be surprised if I say yes?"
no subject
"A dangerous question." He lifts his mouth into a small smirk, feeling himself ease a little more. "I suppose you've begun to see that tact is not much of a commodity here." He quirks his brow upward, addressing the fact that he feels damn awkward.
no subject
Granted, the fact that he did kiss her unavoidably gave her some hope that her feelings might be returned, but since that rooftop kiss thing have been nothing but uncomfortable, and she has started to think that perhaps it was little more than a foolish gesture of affection born from loneliness.
He loves Jane, after all. It hurts to think that perhaps he is only turning to her now because he cannot have that which his heart truly desires. Such thoughts have made it easier to give him space, since they tend to put a damper on all impulses that involve trying for a repeat performance of their moment of passion.
"Yes, I suffer greatly. You know how careful I am to only surround myself with tactful people."
If that sounds like sarcasm it would be because it is.
no subject
"That I know well." He confirms, pinning himself as someone without tact with a bitter little smile. His gaze lingers and he gives pause before finally speaking up again. "I miss you." He says, his smile becoming less bitter and more sad. "I know I have been a fool, Sif. All these years and I am still the greatest fool in all nine realms."
no subject
"Why, because you kissed me?"
She shouldn't do it, she knows that she shouldn't and ordinarily that would be enough to hold her back, but they are locked inside this stupid closet and he isn't wearing a shirt and she loves him and they are both making themselves miserable over this whole thing and she can't stand it.
So naturally the best thing is to make it all worse. Usually she is cleverer than this but romance really is not where her strengths lie, and she knows it well.
She pulls his face down to hers so that she can press her lips against his, if he'll allow it. If not, her point will still be made.
"There, now we are both fools."
no subject
"Because I did it without respect." He says, almost exasperated by both her and himself. He wants so badly to make this right, but he worries that every step forward may soon become a step backward. He opens his mouth to continue trying to sell his point, but instead finds himself being dragged downward and against the lips he's been trying to resist for so long. He doesn't mean to press back, but he does just briefly until she pulls away to speak.
Despite himself, he smiles. He smiles wide. The glee he feels tugs at the corners of his mouth and forces him to flash his teeth in a grin, though he knows he probably shouldn't look so ridiculously pleased.
"That we are." He says quietly, forcing himself to meet her eyes.
no subject
He kissed her back, she felt it, and now he is smiling. She would never have thought Thor to be one to send such mixed and confusing signals.
"You did nothing I did not want you to do, if the way I responded did not tell you clearly enough. If your kiss had been unwelcome, your lips would not have reached mine, of that you can be sure."
no subject
He cannot help but smile back, just as he can't help but kiss her back. He can't fight things that make them so happy, it seems deeply wrong to do so.
"That I should know." He agrees lowly, giving his chin a contemplative stroke as he does. "You do not owe me affection now, Sif. If you will not have me face your wrath for kissing you, then you ought to do so for abandoning you with Stark of all people." Yeah, he knows he fucked up that much.
no subject
Not that this is actually the reason why she has not unleashed a storm of rage upon him for acting the way he did, but they have been apart a lot for some time now so she has had to go for quite a while without teasing him, she must make up for lost time.
Besides, while it had not been an actual plan, now that she is actually speaking the words it's all making rather a lot of sense.
"You want me to be angry with you, because that you would know how to face. Why should I do what you expect of me? Why should I give you an admittedly well-deserved lashing when you are all but begging me for it? Better then to let you stew in your own regret."
She folds her arms across her chest and sticks her chin out, letting some of the hurt and anger she has indeed been feeling shine through a little as her expression hardens and her eyes flash with fierce pride.

Sif and her remarkable ability to reach into Thor's mind and pull forth feelings and motivations he'd not even considered. It seems obvious now that he reflects on it, but he hadn't realised he'd been so pathetically obvious in his endeavors.
His expression becomes sheepish quickly, his head ducking downward as she makes her point. He nods along to acknowledge his understanding, knowing whatever expression she's wearing will be terrifying as he brings himself to make eye contact.
"So you would have me suffer." He observes with a thoughtful nod of his head, the words are dramatic but he sounds wry and casual. "And you would keep me on my toes. A fair trade." His mouth scrunches to the side in a small smirk. "Everything is a challenge to you, Lady Sif."
no subject
More or less, at least.
It is rarely Sif's mission in life to cause Thor pain in any way (apart from giving him a few cuts and bruises while sparring, perhaps), but she is not the most patient woman, nor the most forgiving, and he has his own way of making himself incredibly frustrating from time to time.
She has done her best to remain calm, to wait, but if he is going to be so damn insistent that she ought to flay him fro his behaviour perhaps she should just oblige him.
"I may not whine about it, but this has hardly been painless for me either."
No, she does not in earnest think him whiny, but her sharp tongue has been unleashed and now refuses to remain peaceful any longer.
no subject
When she admits that there has been pain for her, he lifts a hand to her cheek and brushes the back of his fingers over it lightly and affectionately. "Perhaps my methods could use remarking upon as well." He lets out a light laugh, his voice a little fainter. "I will take your words to heart, Sif. And I will avoid you no longer, I was a fool to think it would help."
