She sees the bruises and is careful with dabbing the concealer over them, her fingers surprisingly gentle when she smudges the make up into the skin to conceal the colored patches. Once that's over and done with Tess moves onto the powder. There's liquid and then there's powder as her two options; it's better to stick with the powder, she figures, less gunk to stick to his skin and pores. Not that she's a god damn make up artist and knows this.

The powder is applied (she tries to color match to his skin as best as she can and ends up a shade off) and then the blush, which in her opinion looks too silly for words that Tess can't stop herself from smirking.

As she leans back she tilts her head and wonders what could go on next. Lipstick? Mascara? Eye shadow? The guy doesn't look like he needs his brows filled. "Okay, I think...that's it for the cover up. What's your favorite color?"
